I thought I might not because of his association with Bright Eyes, who I find terribly boring, but M. Ward's songs have those driving rhythms I'm such a sucker for. Also, Trevor told me he's recording an album with Zooey Deschanel, for whom I'm also a sucker. On a side note, I wasn't fully on board with John Prine until I saw him live. Music's weird that way.
